I can not rot in the city for three cents.
The mysterious grows mushrooms from the stress of the city
It is a development story that has been achieved in the most difficult conditions of Artvin.
Traffic, dirty air, synthetic products, stressful jobs, and the lives that go by. Do we really have to take them? We are not according to entrepreneur Nevin Güner. He went back to his village in Artvin where he had risen to everything and set up a brand new life. And now it leads to all cities
We are still talking about how stifling the city life is. But not everyone is so ... Some are brave enough to risk everything and risk returning to nature! Nevin Güner is one of them. First they throw towels from unemployment struggle and they migrate from Eskikale Village of Şavşat District of Artvin to Kocaeli, but when they realize that they have spent their lives working in factories, they returned to their villages with a radical decision! Several of the Guner families and their villagers, starting from scratch, have begun to develop projects to make their living and to improve their living conditions. Finally, there were hopes for the Ardahan-Kars-Artvin Development Project (AKAKP) carried out by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock. The story of Güner, who descends into the cultivation of beech mushroom and says "I will not give up my land, my country" at every occasion, is also hope for us who are in the chaos of big cities ...
EMBRACING WITH NATURE
When we met Nevin Güner, the story excited us. He is a brave woman who has managed to open a brand new page in his own village Eskikale in the magical nature of Artvin. Before telling her story, we all started talking about a subject that could be a lesson ... Talk: Güner: Human beings are accustomed to preparation! We are waiting for everything to be under the blessing, the pre-prepared consulate. Was it like that before? People work, earning everything they have achieved by digging with their fingernails. As soon as we turn to incompetent people who drive their own garden, we should come to ourselves as soon as possible. We must put ourselves under the stone to take them as examples. Instead, we pollute nature with our own hands. First we have to get ahead of it, we have to hold on to our land and keep it alive. Take Artvin; there are no young people here! The average age of the villages I live in is 65. When the young people go there, there will be agriculture here and there will be no people to handle the land. Instead of immigrating to big cities, we should try to raise the living conditions in our own countries. There is no load that can not be raised when you really want it. When we came back, we had no work to do but we did research and produced projects and own our own business. Instead of consuming the life of someone else's factory with a penny of money, we started to live in the soil naturally like the country. While living in the city, you become a one-way person, but you can be both urban and peasant while you are in the middle. At least the breath you take, the water you use is clean. It is healthy and natural for you to drink your own produce that you have eaten.
KENTTEN KÖYM MIGRATION STARTED!
Upon entering this business, Nevin Güner's biggest supporter was Barış Altın. Gold has given up his life in Istanbul for this job: I have been training in oyster mushrooms before, and I have been helping those who are entitled to this support by the Artvin Provincial Directorate of Agriculture for greenhouse installation. Actually I'm a linguist. I made a return to Artvin from Istanbul for this job. We also established the Marani Association in order to ensure the development of agriculture-animal husbandry, tourism and forest products in our region. I am still very new, but in the future I aim to develop more comprehensive projects under the framework of the association and to support those who want to migrate from the city. My first target is to set up communal farms where at least 10 people get together to feed the animals. On the other hand, I started to grow walnuts by setting up 300 saplings and a garden.
BETTER UNDERSTANDING AND CHEAP
Nevin Güner tells us excitedly about the products he has brought to us: We grow beech mushrooms in shanks. We will produce compost. Beech mushrooms, also known as oyster mushrooms, are very different from cultured mushrooms. It is also richer and cheaper than protein in terms of protein. Beech mushroom widely used abroad, but not very common in Turkey. We want to make this mood more recognizable in our country. My goal is to be able to produce better quality products at a lower price by producing my own compost one day. I dream of building a brand of my own.
CITY WASH UPROUND
Güner's family tied to unemployment collisions while living in Artvin. They also found the resort to migrate to Kocaeli in 2002. They started working for a husband and wife in a factory. However, as time went on, even in difficult conditions, they noticed that they were in their places. Because the longevity stuck to their collars everywhere. Güner "After a while we realized that besides the loneliness, we started to take the burden of city life's chaos. My wife wanted to come back, she convinced me. Already every fiIf we were coming to the village, we were evaluating all our vacations here. Being in the village was always happy. My only anxiety is the education of my children, but fortunately they continue their education life without any boredom here. So we returned to the village in 2009, "he explains. AGENDA HUMANIYIM" Artvin'da business is a fact that the problem. People are migrating to big cities. That's what we did. When we came back, we knew we would live the same. But I am an agricultural person, dealing with the land is the most pleasurable thing to me. We heard about the National Agriculture Project initiated by the President while searching for alternatives to ourselves. Eight people from Eskikale Village of Şavşat District of Artvin applied to this project. We talked with the Provincial Director of Agriculture and suggested that our old stables be recycled for mushroom production. They said that the stables were not suitable for hygiene and they wanted to write a project and they showed us the way. Our project was approved by the Ardahan-Kars-Artvin Development Project (AKAKP), which is carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Thus, we have obtained a large portion of the capital to open our sanctuary for beech mushroom cultivation. We started the project together with three friends. Along with Barış Altın and Kadir Demir. Our biggest support in this business was Peace (Gold). He had previously been trained in mushroom breeding and was our guide. If it were not for him, we'd be a lot harder. We started the project in May. We were in the process of installing until July. We are starting to get crops, even if it is not very high at the moment. "
